Sean McCarthy’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. He represents clients in the energy, financial, health-care and technology industries in litigation. He has taken lead roles in breach of contract, business tort, and eminent domain cases. Sean has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including discovery, expert witness preparation, motion practice, oral arguments, mediation, arbitration and trial. Sean has successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Sean is licensed to practice in Texas, as well as before the Northern, Southern, Western, and Eastern District Courts of Texas, and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. Sean is also a member of the Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Juan M. Acevedo Ramírez is an Associate Attorney with Williams Kherkher.  His practice focused representing clients in a variety of civil, corporate and real estate law litigation.  Juan has vast experience in all aspects of the litigation process. 

Acevedo Ramírez, began his career as Attorney for Oficina Legal de la Comunidad, providing free legal services to the most needed sectors of our society, It is this background and his desire to help Puerto Rico and its citizens in their recovery efforts from  the aftermath of Hurricane María, that drives his passion to get the best possible results for all his clients.   


Prior to joining the team at Williams Kherkher, Juan held his own practice for 12 years before joining García Rullán & Franceschi Law Office as lead counsel in the Construction and Residential Development Division and later as Lead Counsel for Jiménez Seda & Alsina PSC, where his duties included filing and negotiating mortgage title insurance claims.  Acevedo Ramírez is admitted to practice law before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, The Puerto Rico Federal District Court and the First Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.




Sharon Lobo is an Architect of East-Indian descent. She was born in Bombay India and then emigrated to Hong Kong. At the age of six, she and her family moved to the United States. A proud citizen of the United States, Sharon calls New York her home.  

Ms. Lobo graduated The Cooper Union in 1991 and has over 25 years of working experience as an architect. She has worked at the renowned firms Vollmer Associates, Swanke Hayden Connell Architects, FXFowle Architects, LZA Technology and Thorton Tomaseti. In 2007, she became a one-third owner at Erwin, Lobo and Bielinski PLLC, One of few forensic architecture firms at the time.


In January of 2012 she formed her own firm, Indus Architect PLLC in Midtown Manhattan. Now rebranded as Indus Architects, the firm is located in New York’s Financial District. Her company is registered in New York as a DBE/MBE/WBE. She welcomes diversity and executes equal opportunity hiring and staffing practices.


Ms. Lobo has spoken at many industry leading events, to include The National Convention of the American Institute of Architects.
