PRHTA committees are composed of hard-working volunteers. They are the backbone of our organization and the means by which our goals can be accomplished. We encourage members to participate and support them. Allied Committee Forum for the discussion of issues of particular importance to Allied members. Presents recommendations and suggestions to the Association based on its broad expertise and experience.

Chair: TBA Seeks ways to solve important issues affecting the tourism industry in environmental awareness, the control of stray animals and more, in coordination with other groups and organizations. Chair: Eddie Ramirez, Casa Sol Bed & Breakfast Human Resources Committee Works with members’ human resources representatives in issues such as salaries, benefits and the latest labor law legislation. Creates programs to improve professionalism of the tourism work force, particularly through the organization of seminars and through its relationship with educational institutions. General Manager's and Owners Committee Discuss current challenges facing hotel and other lodging facilities: marketing, operational costs, security and destination quality.

Forum for the discussion and implementation of action aimed at improving our ability to market Puerto Rico as a visitor destination and to increase wholesalers' room nights production. Chair: Letty Rivero, Condado Plaza Hilton Hotel Membership Committee Forum for the discussion of issues of particular importance to attract members to the Association. Maintains direct communication with the police force in the tourism areas and other state and federal agencies. Looks after the strengthening of the security to our visitors by means of monthly meetings to discuss special situations and alleviate potential problems. Transportation Committee Keeps up-to-date on situations affecting ground transportation. Recommends policies and procedures for the continuous improvement of this sector.
